The Ganges River Dolphin has a unique, long and slender snout which it uses to navigate and find prey in the murky waters of the Ganges River system. This dolphin is effectively blind; its small eyes are only capable of distinguishing light from dark. It relies heavily on echolocation to navigate and hunt in its murky river environment.
